Can I make a recurring donation?
Yes, where recurring donation options are available. Recurring support helps provide more consistent resources for the ongoing care and welfare of cows.
Can I donate on behalf of someone else?
Yes. You can make a donation in honour or memory of someone as a meaningful gesture of seva. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a donation for a specific occasion.
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes. Donation receipts are provided in accordance with the Trust's applicable procedures and requirements. Please ensure that you provide the correct details when making your donation.
80G & Tax Benefits
Are donations eligible for an 80G tax benefit?
Eligible donations may qualify for tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, subject to applicable laws, rules and documentation requirements.
How will I receive my 80G donation receipt?
Eligible donors will receive the applicable donation documentation from the Trust. Please ensure that the donor details provided to us are accurate.
Adopt a Cow
What does "Adopt a Cow" mean?
Our Adopt a Cow programme allows supporters to contribute towards the ongoing care and welfare of cows through Mangal Seva Trust and its partner gaushalas.
Am I actually adopting and owning a particular cow?
No. The programme supports the collective care and welfare of cows and does not transfer ownership of a particular cow to the donor. Your contribution helps provide care where it is needed most.
How much does the Adopt a Cow programme cost?
The current contribution for the Adopt a Cow programme is ₹1,100.
What does my Adopt a Cow contribution support?
Your contribution helps support the care of cows, including nourishment, veterinary treatment, shelter and ongoing welfare.
What do I receive as Prashadi?
As a sacred blessing associated with your seva, supporters receive approximately 700 ml of traditionally prepared A2 Gir Cow Ghee as Prashadi.
Is the ghee part of a commercial sale?
No. The ghee is provided as Prashadi associated with the seva and is not presented as a commercial exchange for the contribution.
Can I adopt more than one cow?
Yes. Supporters who wish to undertake additional seva may participate in the programme more than once.
Can I adopt a cow as a gift?
Yes. Gau Seva can be a meaningful gift for birthdays, anniversaries, festivals, family occasions or other special moments.
Volunteering & Visits
Can I volunteer with Mangal Seva Trust?

Can I visit a gaushala?
Visits may be possible depending on the gaushala and its arrangements. Please contact us in advance rather than arriving unannounced, so that we can help coordinate your visit where possible.
Can I organise a Gau Seva activity with the Trust?
